Pro-gun dating site aims to connect Second-Amendment lovers

New Pro-Gun Website

In an article published by Fox News, there is a new dating site which targets people who support the Second Amendment.

According to Fox News' article, "Pro-Gun Dating, which now says it has tens of thousands of users, 'aims to connect like-minded patriotic Americans who cherish and believe in our Constitutional right to bear arms,' according to the site's Facebook Page. 'In the wake of a renewed push to completely dismantle Americans' gun rights through the destruction of the Second Amendment, fills a massive void. It’s a place where gun owners can meet, talk, and not feel like they're forced to hide their love of firearms.'"

CEO Laura Clark told Fox News, “As a female gun-owner, I started this dating site to empower women. I’m always packing, so I'll never have to join the #MeToo movement. With a pro-gun dating community, there will be no issues for myself or the many like-minded women who join the site in the future.”

A post on their Facebook page has this to say:

"My name is Laura Clark. I’m a woman and a gun owner — and I have a message regarding the #MeToo Movement many will not like.

You see, there’s a critical flaw surrounding the #MeToo and anti-sexual violence movements.

They help victims and survivors of sexual assault stand up, but don’t want to entertain the idea that the very issue of sexual assault can be eradicated with a simple action.

Carrying a firearm.

What their movement won’t acknowledge is that a gun is the ultimate equalizer against malevolent men twice the size and double the strength of a woman.

What their movement won’t acknowledge is that there is, in fact, a way women can defend herself before an attack, not just after.

What their movement won’t acknowledge is that writing stories, giving speeches, and projecting a mentality of victimhood will not remedy the human conditions of lust and covetousness.

Because when the rubber meets the road, words will never be enough to stop a rapist or assailant in their tracks — but a few rounds from a .380 sidearm will. Women need to arm themselves with the reality that their best friend is a firearm.

The dating site I’ve launched,, was started because female empowerment begins with the ability to protect and defend one’s self — and women deserve men who hold the same views.

Ditch the #MeToo movement. Join the #MeShoot movement."

It's certainly an interesting, not to mention different, concept! What do you think?
